Flank Steak Marinade

This is a great flank steak story! My husband Tim and I spent the better part of July staying in our RV in a small campground near Ennis Montana. The RV life is great especially when you have a sizable freezer which allows you to bring a bunch of food from home. We packed steaks, taco meat, chili, ground beef and several marinated flank steaks!!!!
I have a marinade recipe that I have been making for years and got from my mom who had been making it for years before me. I will admit, it was a bit of a genius move on my part to take completely frozen flank steaks and put them into Ziplock bags with the prepared marinate and throw them back in the freezer until we were ready to use them. On the day we planned on eating them I took one out of the freezer and let it thaw in the marinate all day waiting until evening to hit the grill. That all day marinating process turned out to be amazing!!!!

We shared meals with many of the other campers – who just LOVED this marinated flank steak and asked for the recipe before we left for home .It dawned on me that I have never shared this one with my Love This Cookbook Family so I am doing that now. The best things about this recipe are that it has 5 ingredients, you can marinate it for up to 2 days and the grill time is less than 15 minutes. Easy weeknight dinner or flavorful enough to serve to guests. Enjoy!!!!
